Pre-K and Kindergarten Summer Learning Activities

Even at young ages, like when your child is in Pre-K or Kindergarten, it’s important to extend learning activities into the summer months to prevent your child from “regressing.” Summer learning doesn’t have to be complex—there are plenty of valuable lessons and skills that can be learned from books and simple activities that relate to the story!

Here are 9 weeks of summer learning activities you can do with your Pre-K or Kindergarten-aged child at home. Just click your desired age group under each week for a fun, educational activity!

(Note: You do not need to own the book to participate; each activity sheet includes a link to a video of the story being read.)
