Muncie BY5 has three funds, held at the Community Foundation, for which we accept donations.
BY5 Early Childhood Initiative, Inc. is a supporting organization of The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, Inc. All donations to BY5 are made through The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, Inc. Any donation for BY5 will show up as received by The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County, Inc. on your statement.

The Endowed Fund
The principal balance of this fund is never spent, only the yearly earnings. This means these funds will never go away and funds available to be spent depend on the performance of the investments. Funds from this account may be used at the discretion of the BY5 board.
The Program Fund
Donations to this fund will be used to help with specific programming needs for the Professional Learning Institute.
The Operating Fund
Donations to this fund will be used to help cover staff and office expenses. Without staff, programs are not possible. Funds in excess of those needed in the operating budget may be used for programs at the discretion of the BY5 board.
