Positive/Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs): Resilience, Healing, and Recovery (Part 2)

ACEs can have lasting, negative effects on health, wellbeing in childhood and life opportunities, such as education and job potential, well into adulthood. These experiences can increase the risks of injury and a wide range of chronic diseases and leading causes of death, such as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and suicide. Participants who attend this session will be informed about and explore Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs). Learn the impact PACEs have on growth and development from the start of growth in babies and through adulthood. Join us in this two-part session to be reminded of your collective strength and opportunities you have among each other, the families you serve and wider community to support one another and engage fully in their lives.
