Improving Children's Social-Emotional Competence through Child-Led Problem Solving

  • Muncie BY5 108 S Walnut St, Suite 306 Muncie, IN 47305 (map)

Improving Children’s Social-Emotional Competence Through Child-Led Problem Solving focuses on empowering children to take on leadership roles and approach challenges with confidence. By fostering a supportive, community-centered environment, children learn to express empathy, develop healthy coping strategies, and navigate interpersonal conflicts. Through guided facilitation, teachers support children in identifying problems, brainstorming solutions, and building critical social-emotional skills that promote independence, resilience, and strong peer relationships.

Thanks to generous funding from our partner ECI TRAC, this session is FREE for all early childhood educators in East Central Indiana, regardless of PLI membership status.
